Aladriv (2008 & 2006)

“ALADRIV…” It is taming a place, a space to leave a body layout, in order to invite one another to account for the strong symbolic systems which the citizenship carries.

But it is about inviting both the artist and the public to wonder about its role, its implication in the social organisation of the city and on its dialectical with the institution.

It is about withholding in the poetry of gestures, sounds, colors, common problems which humanity underlies: youth, family, insecurity, identity, historical heritage, cultural syncretism…

Creation presented on the “Place des Martyrs et de la Liberté” in Pointe-à-Pitre and on the square of Sonis Cultural Center in Les Abymes.

Voyage au Pays du Sari (2004)

“1854-2004”, represents the 150th anniversary of the arrival of the 1st Indians in Guadeloupe. By a historical fact: “Abolition de l’esclavage*”, a cultural and human syncretism will be born…

*Abolition of Slavery

Creation presented at the Center of the Arts and Culture of Pointe-à-Pitre.

Point Limite (2002)

« POINT LIMITE »…Like a full stop: That to accept oneself, to like and unite with this history.

To be and live in harmony, in this Guadeloupian space whoever we are and wherever we are and from.

Creation presented at the Center of Arts and Culture of Pointe-à-Pitre.

Entre-Nous (2000)

The meeting with the other, the very first contact, the premises of a future relationship can only lead to SUPREME HAPPINESS if they are approached with enormous love.

Creation presented at the Center of the Arts and culture of Pointe-à-Pitre.

Prescience de l’Ô (2000)

Burst butterfly, ignorant of its spaces, its space. We feel “continental”, we think “islander”. Each dirt hillock, each plain, each mountain is a country of which its limbs are dislocated. Symbolic representation of “MOUN AN DIDANTÈ*”.

*Country people

Choreographic creation of the project “Danser en communes” presented in different towns of Guadeloupe: Deshaies, Pointe-Noire, Gourbeyre, Vieux-Fort, Port-Louis and Pointe-à-Pitre.

« 1967 » (1998)

“1967”, it is a date, a death, a life, a man.

Creation presented at the Center of Arts and culture of Pointe-à-Pitre.

Le Passage Sacré (1996)

This part narrates the story of a sacred and ancestral tradition according to which the kings offered themselves in sacrifice so that the village thrives.

Creation presented at the Center of Arts and culture of Point-à-Pitre.

Désordre et Fragments D’harmonie (1994)

This creation tells fragments of story.  It is a question of pushing the individual to be stopped on “random” things of life, of the trivial facts, casual, unimportant that the gestural of the show business can bring to magnificence.

Creation presented in the Center of Arts and Culture of Pointe-à-Pitre.

Bab’Sal (1992)

This ballet in 4 acts is inspired by the novel La Po Farine by Tony Delsham. The part attempts to present a facet of the Guadeloupe through a character: the swagman, the tramp, the vagrant… terminology unfit to our memories.

The Caribbean dancers Armando Caballero Marten (Cuba) and Jean-François Colombo (Martinique) were invited to take part in this creation.

Creation presented at the Center of Arts and of Culture of Pointe-à-Pitre and at the Basse-Terre auditorium.
