“FENÊTRE SUR… Mon bigidi et moi” (2009)

In this solo Lénablou imposes us her imprisonment that of the islander psyche, to signify the importance of the body in Caribbean societies. And perhaps at the end of this conversation between you and her, will bead this magical dialectic which takes place between the dansè (dancer) and the makè (musician) in the swaré léwòz*.

Poussières D’eau” (2004)

It is the crossing of the seas which allowed the meeting of the people. This space “water” is then driven as an erecting place, a place of construction of the Caribbean civilization. Water is the crossing of men and women, a ceaseless dialogue of influx and reflux between this elsewhere and tomorrow.
